Pressure Safety Valve Cover/Presco / Argus cover
What it is made up from:
Description and Applications:
The Pressure Safety valve cover,is very similar to the In-Line Hood, in that they both have sides that are sealed, but in this case, two that is open. The difference between the two is the way the straps are attached. The straps close the two open sides, making easy to accommodate protrusions, such as discharge pipes, electrical cable, and the like. The similarities is that it is essentially a bag to go over a vertical object, and a means to attach it with the use of the straps. The PSV cover has a flap that is designed to insulate a vertical object and then have the insulation wrap around the pipe it is sitting on. It has straps to facilitate the wrapping of the insulation around the pipe. The Part Number starts with the preface: “PSV”. Example a 1’ x 1’ Inline hood part number is: PSV1201, whereas the tan product has the part # CTPSV1201, which is the also 1’ x 1’.
These products start at a external width of 12” and a length of 12”, but we can make any combination of size up to 96” wide and 20’ long. Stock sizes are available from 4 ft to 12 ft circumference and 2ft to 8 ft in height.
